• An official Golf Link card with your unique 10-digit Golf Link number will be mailed to you.
• You receive Players Personal Liability Cover through Golf Australia.
• When visiting Cerberus, you may enter Club Competitions by paying only comp fees with green fees waived. Social rounds green fees at 50% discount on already discounted Defence Green Fee rate.
• Activate your handicap by submitting 3 scorecards from any golf course in Australia.
• You can then use your handicap to participate in any golf competition all over Australia.
• Maintain your handicap by submitting up to 5 social round score cards annually to Cerberus.

Eligibility

• Must be a serving member of the Defence Force.
• Permanent residence must be 100km outside of Cerberus Golf Club
• Sign up for a minimum of 12 months.

How do I submit my initial score cards to Cerberus Golf Club to obtain my handicap?

Play any course, anywhere in Australia.  Just record your gross score, sign the card and have it counter signed by a marker.  Take a photo of the front and back of the score card and SMS it to Club Manager Danny Shine.  Just make sure the Slope Rating, Scratch Rating and Par of the course are visible in the photo.

What are social round score cards and how do I submit them for handicapping?

With a busy work life schedule, we recognise it may be difficult to play regularly, particularly in official competitions.  Therefore, as a FLEET member you are permitted to submit up to 5 social score cards per year to assist you in regularly adding to your handicap profile.  A social round is any game you play that is not in an official competition.  Follow the steps in the answer to question 1 above to submit your score cards.
